Eze on Google Maps-
Eze, few kilometers from the city of Nice, is a medieval hamlet built on a spur of rock that stands on the hills that descend steeply towards the sea around the castle, now in ruins. Over the centuries, the village has been remained practically intact thanks to the numerous artists who have created their workshops, especially painting, inside the ancient houses. Built on the hills to defend itself from the attacks of Saracen pirates, Eze is today a popular historical village visited annually by thousands of tourists from all over the world. Walking in the alleys, passing under the windows of the ancient stone houses, stopping at the fountains to rest after the sometimes steep climbs observing the glimpses of the sea between the walls of the houses is like taking a step back in time watching the same panoramas that the inhabitants of Eze observed in the Middle Ages.
