Kea on Google Maps.
It is the island of the Cyclades complex that is closest to Attica and due to its proximity to the port of Piraeus, it is one of the islands in the Cyclades archipelago most easily reached from Athens. This proximity makes the island of Kea an holiday destination even during the winter and there are many tourists who spend the Christmas holidays on the sunny and peaceful Kea. Large uncrowded beaches, roads and paths for splendid walks, clear and transparent sea, a local cuisine rich in tastes and flavors, a fishy sea that guarantees excellent grilled fresh fish, these are the peculiarities of the island. The hospitality of the inhabitants, the long sunny days, the excellent offer of hotels, restaurants, B&B and apartments for rent, make the island of Kea a year-round destination for holidays of sun, sea and tranquility.
