Genipabu on Google Maps.
Located close to the town of Natal Genipabu, complex of dunes, lagoon and environmental protection area, one of the most famous places of Rio Grande do Norte Brazilian State. The dunes of Genipabu are movable, because the hard winds in the Rio Grande do Norte coastline moves the sand from one point to another, shaping the landscape. An environment in constant transformation that makes these places always new and different. The protected area of Genipabu can only be reached by buggies driven by expert guides that allow you to discover the most beautiful and hidden corners of this extensive park of sandy dunes. On the dunes it is possible to descend them sitting on wooden boards and then end up in the cool waters of the lagoon or try the adrenalinic descent with a final dip in the lake of the park sitting on a seat hanging from a rope that descends quickly from the top of the dunes to the surface of the water. An unforgettable experience is the visit to the protected area of Genipabu between descents on the sand and beautiful views where the dunes gently enter the clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
