Dune Buggy to Pipa (Brasil)

Brazil - Travel - Back to index

By: Carlo Piccinelli

The road on Google Maps.
The dune buggy is a car born to travel on the sand. Low and wide it is perfect to "float" on the dunes and to travel along the very long ocean shorelines like the one that leads from Natal to Pipa. Pipa is a small seaside town on the northeastern coast of Brazil about 60 kilometers south of the city of Natal. Obviously there is a wide asphalt road that crosses the forest and the vast cultivated areas but most of the people and especially the tourists who live in Natal, prefer to visit Pipa reaching it directly from the long and deserted Atlantic beaches. A fun and adventurous journey organized only with the legendary Dune Buggy.
