Paros island on Google Maps.
In this second reportage on the island of Paros, we discover the eastern coast, with wide bays overlooked by low hills dotted with monasteries and small churches, such as Aghios Antonios, the most important church on this stretch of coast, which overlooks, from its hilltop, the wide Kefalos Bay bordered by a beautiful beach. From the hills we glimpse rugged landscapes in the island's interior including fields of grain and olive groves. The main village is Naoussa, located within a large bay on the northern tip of the island. It has a picturesque natural harbor used by local fishermen, almost completely surrounded by small restaurants serving traditional dishes based on freshly caught fish. A journey of discovery along the eastern coast, for those staying on the island for a few days, that can be a pleasant one discoveries of cultural and gastronomic moment.
