Deux Alpes on Google Maps

At 3400 meters above sea level, the glacier of the Deux Alpes (one of the largest in Europe and open all year also for the skiers), hosts inside ice sculptures formed by carving directly the Martel glacier. Thanks to the cog railway, tourists climb up to the glaciers Martel and Girose and reach the cave using the tracked vehicles of the "Cruise of the snow". A little trip on the glacier to see the panorama of the Alps and then, with great astonishment, start the tour visiting the ice sculptures into the glacier Martel. From 1993 to 2012, several sculptors have made their works in the ice and thanks to a clever lighting, the spectacular exhibition ispired on the "Ice Age" becomes a spectacle of colors and shadows very particular.
